Lincoln School Direct Appeal
Welcome students and families to the 2023-24 school year!
Each year, the Lincoln School Parents Association (LSPA) works to provide programs and services that enrich our student’s lives, engage our families, and support the hard work and talents of our teachers, administrators, and staff. The Direct Appeal serves as the primary source of funding for these school-wide enrichment activities. We need your support to continue making Lincoln such an exciting and successful learning environment.
What does your support do for our students?
Below is a sample of the programs and activities we've done over the years, thanks to your generous contributions and the involvement from the Lincoln community:
Teacher and Specialist Support: Grants to improve classrooms, enhance learning centers and fund new resources to support the curriculum across all grade levels.
Community Outreach and School Events: Welcoming Dusty the Therapy Dog, hosting STEAM Night and providing support for in-school programming.
Special Projects and Appreciation: Various events throughout the year for teachers and staff to let them know how much we appreciate their hard work to create a positive educational experience for our children.
Student Activities: Subsidized funding for field trips, assemblies, field day and playground improvements to encourage safe play outside (check out the new slide!).
Ways to Give to The Direct Appeal
To continue providing the same great activities as well as creating new programs, our goal this year is to raise $16,000. To reach this goal, the suggested donation is $100 per child. Please consider a contribution in any amount that is within your family’s budget as every donation goes a long way and is 100% tax deductible.

Please note that the LSPA is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As a result, contributions are tax deductible. We will forward receipts for tax purposes in January. Thank you in advance for your support.
Remember to check with your employer to determine if your contribution can be matched. If so, please obtain the applicable form(s) from your company’s human resources department to submit with your check. Many employers match contributions made by their employees to 501(c)(3) organizations such as the LSPA.
