The First Grade class has a variety of learning opportunities in and outside of the classroom.  A sample of past events is included below.

  • MA Science Center/Top Secret Science - Michael Bergen is America’s most loved weird scientist. He has personally worked hands-on with more than 1 million children over the past 18 years. Mr. Bergen is a wonderful educator, entertainer and motivator who gets both kids and adults to enjoy science through engaging participation

  • Gail LaRocca/Africa Adventure -  Venture with Gail LaRocca on a spectacular audiovisual safari through the Serengeti plains, Rubondo Island, Ruaha, Ngorongoro, Tarangire Parks of Tanzania, East Africa.  Gaze across the sun baked plains dotted with extinct volcanoes and soda lakes swarming with flamingos

  • Puppet Showplace Theater - We support the use of puppetry in its many forms, from traditional to contemporary, as a medium for entertainment, education, and artistic expression; and, in partnership with area businesses, schools and other philanthropic organizations, we encourage and participate in puppetry and performing arts as a community service that can change lives for the better

  • John Kelleher/Johnny the K Show -   Nationally acclaimed and award winning musician and teacher, John Kelleher, along with his 12 string guitar and his unique collection of costumed hats, masks, and disguises, educates and inspires his audiences through his spirited and interactive style of music.

Note:  Many of these events are 100% funded by Lincoln School parent donors. Please consider contributing through our Direct Appeal program to support these programs

School Lunch: School Lunch payments may be made in person on Mondays and Thursday mornings before school, in the lobby of Lincoln School. Please bring check or cash.  If you would prefer to pay online via credit card, or if you would like to check your child’s balance, please visit MySchoolBucks.
